That's what one of my students said, during a scene in a video I showed them discussing the construction of the Pantheon. If it weren't for teenages, who would alert us to all the missed possible double entendres or penis jokes in the world.

Makes you wonder what life was like during Paleolithic (?) times when people rarely lived past their twenties. Civilization ran by teenagers : )

Yes, but, just by saying penis or erection or butt, they think they've said something clever. How did any of us get out of teenhood?

I don't know, I think that penis jokes served some now lost evolutionary purpose. Maybe mocking the sexual characteristics of others made one seem more attractive to potential mates.
